calibration SeekTech SR-20

Dear Sirs

We would like to know what is procedure used to calibrate that equipment , or , if OSHA 18000 has some inidcation or rule to calibrate that .

Waiting your

commnets

JEsus Rubio
Typically calibration only needs to be done on a unit when and if the mast assembly has been dis assembled due to damage and or repairs. Calibration can only be performed at the factory.

I am not familiar with OSHA 18000 or of it has any mandate on when locating tools are calibrated.

If you have further questions please contact our Technical Support Department at 888-743-4333.

K 750 cable

Can you explain how to remove the cable from the pigtail on the K 750? There is a screw visable but it only spins. I need to replace the cable!
Thank you
Once the screw is turned 180 degrees to the unlock position, the cable will slide out from the pigtail.

We have uploaded the instruction sheet for drum cables.

How do you clean this?

Just bought this and was going through the manual and it says to clean the auger after use. Ridgid also sells a rust inhibiter, but how do you get the thing apart. There is no information anywhere in the book.
The best way to clean the cable in a power spin is to manually pull the cable out of the unit. I generally do this in an area where I have some room to lay the cable out in front of me.
The cable is attached to the inside of the drum so once you get to the end you will feel some resistance at which point you can stop puling.
Cleaning is really wiping the moisture off of the cable, especially if it is not going to be used for a while.

While we no longer sell the rust inhibitor, rag moistened with some oil will suffice to help prevent rust and corrosion.

Thank you

Does the 18v X4 hammer drill have 650 inches or 615 inches of torque and why different listings.

Do I have to buy at Home Depot to get the life Time Warranty?
Home Depot is not actually the only source. New LSA qualifying RIDGID power tool purchases can be made through Direct Tool outlets (limited supplies), as well as through RIDGID plumbing tool supply distributors that order and sell new RIDGID wood working power tools.

Do you have the plunge adpter to make it a plunge router? I just purchased it to make some signs>

I have the sign patterns etc. and router bit.
No, RIDGID dos not offer a plunge base or an adaptor that provides that feature for the R2401 trim router. That would be a feature commonly associated with full size routers.

Is this a variable speed unit usable for polishing/sanding?

No, the R10201 angle grinder does not have a variable speed feature to allow it to slow down for use in polishing and sanding applications.

Power head, Voltage regulation

Does this gen-set use 100% copper windings in the power head? Is this a brush or brush-less design? How is the voltage regulated? Does this gen-set have a fuel gauge? What type of lubrication system does the Yamaha engine use? full pressurized, slinger, semi pressurized?
There is no information provided by engineering concerning the gen-head winding composition, due to design proprietary concerns. The RD906812 model generator has brushes, and does not have a fuel gauge feature. All engine related questions the customer may have would need to be addressed for the customer by the engine manufacturer Yamaha at, 1-866-788-7398.

The AC9945 Miter Saw Utility Vehicle has Universal Quick Release Mounting Brackets that are compatible with all sliding and compound miter saws.

Why do the mounting brackets for this stand not work with the 12" compound miter saw?

I have the 12" compound miter saw and first off, the assembly instructions are the absolute worst I have ever seen. Why would the written instructions be in the front, and then the diagrams in the back of the book? That means you constant have to flip back and forth.

Second, the parts list couldn't be more unclear. All metric, with no picture so show what bolt, nut, etc... is being referenced.

Third, the clamping brackets that go on the top of the stand do not work with the 12" compound miter saw. WHAT!?!? The back slots will allow you to insert the bolts, but the front ones don't because of the locking mechanism on the clamps.. The instructions say to you "1/2" material or greater and mount that to the brackets, then mount the saw to the material." REALLY!? Are you serious? So I have to go buy plywood to make this work? That is unacceptable. If this issue hasn't been addressed it should, because this is a horrible design flaw with a half-hearted attempt for a fix.

Finally, I am missing parts from my kit. How would I go about getting them? How would I know what to call the part that I am missing since there is no picture accurately showing what the parts look like. I guess you could say I need a "dome top nut". The one that is used to secure the foot pad.

I have to say, this stand is a huge disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The manuals are designed to maintain a flow in regards to instructing the customer on set up and usage from one step to the next in each category. The pictures or figures are placed in a reference section towards the back of the manual for the customer to reference during the procedure the customer is performing, as needed. Unfortunately, not all customer like that set up with a manual, but that is the current format being used.

The manuals loose parts page with part descriptions, and the text on assembly provide all of the necessary information to properly assemble the product. A detailed descriptive parts list should not be needed and is not included in the manual. However, if the customer wishes to view a parts list, they can do so on-line in the www.ridgidparts on-line parts system.

Unfortunately, the saw brackets for the MS-UV cannot accommodate every miter saw models design or foot pattern. For those models that do not fit, the option to mount to an mounting board and then to the brackets, is the only option advisable.

replacements for missing items from new RIDGID power tool and accessory purchases can be obtained by contacting the RIDGID customer service phone staff at 1-866-539-1710,
between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, and providing your shipping address (No P.O. Boxes), and the tool or accessory model and serial number for the product.
